The trip was a good and happy experience for me and my family.

Location was absolutely stunning. The staff were really helpful and hospitable. The beach was at walking distance so that made it so convenient for us to enjoy it.

I think it would have made the experience even better if there were dedicated time for ladies only for the pool and the beach.

gym was not kept up well at all. Weight machines broken/out of order, treadmills and cardio equipment not working. Gym seemed old. The room was quite dark

Location was great. Room was nice. Proximity to beach was nice. Sea was lovely. Room service was great. Bar staff were amazing. Gym is ok. Facilities overall are good. Views are great.

Big resort directly on the beach Garden and common hotel area as well as the beach very well kept Fresh beach towels available daily

Bar on the beach was not lively enough - practically no music and barman was not really entertaining or speaking good English Sunbeds on the beach extremely uncomfortable - some broken with flat mattress ready to be replaced with more comfy ones We had very early check in and check out - receptionist was not really welcoming or appearing to care about our stay Rooms smelling humidity too much Swimming pool not very well arranged, quite a boring place and not very inviting, no music, no character

A great place if you planing to spend your time on the beach or the pool.

Breakfast was good. And the staff were helpful. The landscape of the hotel is designed beautifully.

The hotel is a bit far from Salalah’s downtown . I didn’t like that the breakfast and the lobby is far from the room. The weather at Salalah is not so good. So it’s is not pleasant to walk outdoors to head to the restaurant or the lobby. You can ask for a golf cart to take you places, but you have to wait at least half hour for it. Maintenance take a long time to come to the room.

Great location. Great beach and resort area. Restaurant staff were excellent.

Reception staff were not very welcoming. The bed mattress and pillows were not at all comfortable. 2nd night the power in the room kept turning on and off.

Outstanding friendly and helpful staff - special thanks to Imylda at reception and three other personnel : 2 from Egypt and one from Oman, sorry to forget the names, they were all exceptionally welcoming and helpful,

Hotel could add more directional signages and attend to the rust caused by the humid air

Average - wouldn’t rush back.

Great location and nice walk to the marina. The grounds were lovely. Great breakfast.

I contacted the hotel about a pick up from the airport but did not receive a response so I ended up getting a taxi from the airport. They either forgot to clean the room or tried to clean the room too late in the day (approx 16:00) so we had to call to request that they cleaned earlier in the day. The phone in the room did not work so I could not call room service/reception etc. We reported it but it did not get fixed. Twice we ordered room service and were told it would take 20 minutes to arrive. It took an hour on each occasion. The room was very dark even with all the lights on. I asked the hotel to book me a large taxi to the airport on check out day. The taxi arrived 15 minutes late (after me chasing it multiple times). The taxi then tried to charge me double the rate I had paid to go from the airport to the hotel when I arrived. After a short negotiation I managed to reduce the price, however this left a bad lasting impression of the hotel and they need to re-consider their transport team that they book for customers.

Lovely, relaxing resort if you have lots of money!

The location and facilities were beautiful.

I found it really expensive! And then to upgrade to All-inclusive package wasn't value for money as the drinks promotion was only available from 6-8pm. I feel like we didn;t have enough information either - we had to constantly ask about certain restaurants, water taxis, transport to the Marina - an information booklet would have been appreciated.

Excellent customer service from Hayat during our breakfast at the beach bar.

Poor staff performance and customer service at the Safron restaurant.long trouser policy doesn't make sense for a beach resort. Wanted to have dinner with the family , was not allowed as restaurant policy requires long trousers. Asked to speak with the person in charge , was given then the option to dine but in an enclosed area and my wife only can get the food for me, also offered to wear an old sweat pants that looks scruffy. I think the nice shorts are more elegant than wearing that, the funny part was that a man walked in with shorts and ndvwas allowed in as they were covering his knee. No info about the dressing code provided earlier or explained at reception. This incident needs to be looked at and more training on customer service should be provided.akso a review of the long trouser policy.

I loved the hotel. Food was great. The beach bar/restaurant was wonderful and decently priced. The pool is wonderful too!! highly recommended

It was a bummer that the beach wasn't open since it was not the season, and it's a bit far from the center of the city. Rent a car and make your life easier

It’s a perfect holiday destination for family as well as couple. It’s a well developed property in front of beach with various categories of rooms as per your choice. Variety of dinning options. Along with this at adjacent marina you can enjoy canal boat tour and other various cafe on marina bay.

Gave us the taste of luxury we wanted to celebrate our anniversary.

This Rotana is spread out across several small clusters which gave it a nice village feel. It has a sheltered beach as well as the ocean facing one which is closed during the Khareef. The room was nicer than expected. The location was perfect for us as it gave quick and easy access to the mountains (we were there to cycle) but it is some way out of town. Late check out available until 3pm for free and 7pm for 25 OMR - suited our short stay perfectly.

At the time of our stay both a la carte restaurants were closed. We were there to celebrate our anniversary so we were looking for something a bit nice. In the end though, it didn't matter. It was also a bit frustrating that, even though we booked our late checkout in advance, when we returned to our room after 110km cycling, our keys were no longer working. It's those little failures of attention to detail that rankle a bit when you are paying for a luxury hotel.

Amazing hotel with friendly staff

The staff were amazing, so helpful. We were initially given a ground room which we werent happy with, however the manager was more than happy to to move us to one we were happy with. Hotel was very clean, authentic omani decor. Tennis courts were great and so was pool. Breakfast was great too, however could have changed the menu as we were there for 6 days and got repetitive.

The location- was a quite a distance to shops/restaurants. However, the hotel had some good restaurants but a bit expensive. The beach was a bit dirty, but khareef season had just ended so the hotel was transitioning through this period. They were in the process of a clean up.

I didn’t like the stuff at all very very bad experience they need to learn how to speak nice with guest and respect people and they are very very Rude from front desk to bar to the gate didn’t like at all and when you call front desk nobody answer over 10 times you have to wait 1 hour for house keeping to come very terrible experience
